Bottom-up View of Eiffel Tower at Spring
This painting was worked out with oil paint in Jakarta (July 7, 2006)
on a canvas of 100 x 80 cm by oil paint. The model was inspired by my last
visit to Paris on Spring, May 2005, on the occasion of International Seminar
on Participatory Irrigation Management in Tarbes, Southern France. I only
had a chance to see the Eiffel tower from the taxi that brought me from
the Railway Station to Charles De Gaulle International Airport. So I made
the painting based on the bottom up scene, with the closed up flowers, to
enhance the Spring. The original painting is now placed at my art
collection Bandung, West Java.
