Year 13 study the second half of the vocational A level in which they will gain a broad understanding of ICT and will be able to study selected areas in more depth. The course will develop their key skills that are highly valued by employers and universities. Students will have the opportunity to apply learning in a practical and realistic way. The course consists of 5 units:
This course will appeal to students who enjoy studying a subject that is relevant to their everyday lives and activities. The course is very practical and there are elements to do yourself - everything is not not just taught to you - you research and find ways of doing things yourselves. This may sound hard however, it means independent learning and universities and employers find this course better as you are prepared for the real world where everything is not just given to you.
