At Haydon we encourage all students to apply their ICT skills in a variety of subjects across the curriculum.  Our aim is to:

Motivate and excite students about the possibilities that ICT offers

Produce individuals who are independent and inter-dependent users of ICT.
Produce students who have an understanding of the implications of the new

          technology on society.

Educate students so that each and every one has an excellent understanding

and knowledge of National Curriculum ICT.
Produce students who are able to apply their understanding and knowledge of ICT

sucessfully to novel and realistic situations, both within, and external to,

          the curriculum.

Maximise the use of the resources at our disposal.
Educate a subset of students into becoming highly skilled ICT specialists

who are able to develop careers in ICT industries.

Encourage the use of ICT as a tool, to aid teaching in all areas of academic study
