Marking of how to become an astronaut

Name should be here as header – If the Name is not here (lose 1 mark)

HOW TO BECOME AN ASTRONAUT

Heading must be changed in style/ bold etc - (lose 1 mark) If they’ve forgotten part of the title (lose ½ mark)

1. Make sure that you are going to a school that has an excellent academic record, particularly in subjects related to your aim of becoming an astronaut. May I recommend Haydon School – This is a good choice! style of writing should have changed (otherwise lose one mark)

2. From the age of 11 you must start weightlessness training. The best way to do this is by lying in your bed for long periods of time and asking your parents for constant supplies of nutrients.

3. When you reach 12 years of age you will need to think carefully about additional lessons in Astro- Physics and Sewing (it gets pretty boring out there in space).

4. Once you reach 14 years of age you must begin to plan your GCSE’s. I would like to recommend a GCSE course in "what to do if you meet an Alien in North Hillingdon Tube" or possibly "cooking a three course meal for aliens with two heads", but I can’t.

5. You will need to go to university and complete a course in "how to become an Astronaut".

6. It is now time to become a citizen of the USA.

7. Finally, write a letter to NASA, (include a recent photograph) asking for a job on the next space shuttle.

Minimum of one picture anywhere (no picture – lose 1 mark)
