Modelling

Modelling is the second topics that year 7 students will study. This will involve the use of spreadsheets and will teach students the importance of spreadsheets in ensuring accurate calculations have been made. Students will look into 'what if' scenarios and will be conducting research into examples of modelling.

By the end of the topic, students will be able:

To enter data into a spreadsheet.

To change the data in any cell.

To use formulas to do calculations.

To copy a formula

To use data to produce a meaningful graph.

To transfer their knowledge to novel contexts.

To change the variables in a computer model.
