Swedish massage - Combines effleurage, kneading, and friction on the surface of the muscles with assisted movements of the joints. It relaxes the mind and body, warms up and flushes toxins from the muscles, and improves circulation and range of motion.

Deep Tissue - Uses slow strokes and deep hand pressure on tight areas. It releases patterns of tension in the muscles and restores suppleness and strength.

Sports massage - For muscle discomfort associated with hard workouts, the techniques benefit muscles by warming and softening tissue, realigning muscle fibers, helping to heal scar tissue, and flushing toxins from specific muscles.

Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT) - Applies concentrated finger pressure to "trigger points" to break the cycle of spasm and pain. Trigger points are small sensitive areas in the muscle fibers that develop under extreme physical stress, especially in the lower back, neck, and shoulders.

Repetitive Use Injury Therapy (RUIT) - Uses a combination of stretch and pressure techniques, most effective in lengthening shortened muscle tissue. Using this technique, I can successfully relieve chronic muscle pain as well as carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, and plantar fascitis.

Now offering Craniosacral Therapy (CST)- The craniosacral system is comprised of the membranes and cerebral spinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. Using a light touch of five grams ( the weight of a nickel) restrictions in the craniosacral system can be release to improve function of the central nervous system. CST is effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction including: migraines, chronic neck and back pain, learning disabilities, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, immune disorders, scoliosis, central nervous system disorders, traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries. A CST session generally lasts for 45 minutes to an hour. The client remains fully clothed during the session.
