She was living in Chillicothe, MO. at the time of her son's death in 1925. Obit says "Mrs. Nancy Sutton died at 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Millie Housman, 1426 McVey Avenue. Eleven years ago, at the time of the death of her husb and, Thomas Sutton, she moved to Chillicothe to live at the home of her daughter. Mrs. Sutton had a fall about two weeks ago, which resulted in her death. She leaves her daughter, Mrs. Houseman, eleven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Mrs. Sutton was 84 years, 4 months and 11 days old. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. Hichols. Interment in Edgewood Cemetery." Normal Funeral Home.
