Buried in Section 25, Lot 1, Space 7, Forest Park Cemetery, Joplin, Mo. He lived at 2516 Empire, Joplin, MO. at time of his death. His burial plot was purchased by Flora Sutton on 2-20-1925. His obit states: "Funeral arrangements for William Ross Sutton, 61 years old, a carpenter who dropped dead at 3:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon whil e building a fence for Frank Phillips at 2507 Empire Avenue, are incomplete. Death was due to heart disease. Mr. Sutton, who resided at 2516 Empire Avenue, is survived by his wife, Mrs. Flora E. Sutton; a son, G. S. Sutton; four daughters, Mrs. J. C. Kerr, and Mrs. D. W. Ray of Joplin; Mrs. Clyde McVay of Bartlett, Neb.; and Miss Viola Sutton at home; his mother, Mrs. Nancy Sutton of Chillicothe, MO, and a sister, Mrs. Wood Houseman of Chillicothe. He was a member of the Blendville Christian Church."
