Love may be blind, but hatred is far more so. There was a manufacturer who made something. The product later became defective. The manufacturer put out a kit to overcome the fault.God is the manufacturer, we are the product. The repair kit is Jesus. We can choose to receive the repair kit or remain faulty. When the manufacturer does his call-back the defective products will be scrapped. Be a fixed product! If you can't be thankful for what you receive, be thankful for what you escape.

The simple-but difficult-key to contentment is to realise that life is in its entirety is a gift, not a right. ![]() There are so many times when we put the things of this world before Gods will. I know myself, so many times I've said `Hold on Lord, I'll just........'.I get called to prayer or to read the word but it's 'I'll just watch this' or 'I'll just do that' and before you know it it's way past bed time so you rush a prayer or a bit of bible reading out of a sense of duty because of the guilt your feeling. Where are the priorities in that? Where's the self sacrifice? Where's the putting God and the things of the Lord first? 1 John 2.15 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world, the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does come not from the Father but from the world. The world and it's desires pass away but the man who does the will of God lives forever. Real happiness is more of a habit than a goal, more of an attitude than an attainment. You died to yourself at baptism but to what degree do we allow our old self to be resuscitated? The more of our self interests we obey the less of God we obey. Pick a Page
