SUMMR'S STORIES

I have written poems for years, but never wrote any of my experiences down as stories. After reading stories in an online publication, I decided to share some of my experiences. To my surprise, several of my stories were accepted. I was very excited, but not prepared for the flood of email I received from those who read and responded to them. I have been so blessed by what was shared from of others, I often spend time in tears as I read all the email. I decided to add these stories to my website, and will be adding more as they are written. Since my first story appeared, The "Can Do" Girl has been published in a book called Heart, Hoof and Soul. It's a collection of stories, poems, and photos about girls and their horses. Four other stories have been published in a book called Heartwarmers. And other stories or poems have been published in various online e-zines. I never started out to be published, but it has been an exciting experience and I have learned a lot.
