My Birthplace
It was 26 March 1976 when I took my first breath on this motherly Earth, at my paternal village "Reotith", which is about 200 km in north-west direction from Patna (Bihar).
My Family
I am from a lower middle family. My father runs his own business, and my mother is a housewife. We are three brothers and a sister.
My Education
I finished my schooling from my village and for further studies I came Chapra (District headquarters). There, I joined in Rajendra college (which is now under
JaiPrakash University, Chapra.) for my 10+2. I completed my Intermediate of Science and Graduation degree from there.
Since childhood I wanted to see my self in a health care field, and so after 10+2 I decided to make my career in the field of medicine. But unfortunately, I could not get through it. And I joined B.Sc (Hons.) in Chemistry.
After completion of my graduation I moved to Delhi for the higher studies. Being from a middle class family, it was very difficult for me to manage the expenses of my study in a city like Delhi. I decided to take part time teaching job. I spent a few years of my career in Delhi with some sweet and sour taste of success and failure. Meanwhile in late 2001, I found the IBAB admission notice. I applied for it and I was among those fortunate
30 who made their place into IBAB after regrous national level test and interviews. I completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Bioinformatics from IBAB in April 2003. Currently along with my job, I am pursuing my Master in Bioinformatics from Annamalai University (Distance Learning Mode).
My Workplace
Currently I am working as
Bioinformatics Analyst in the bioinformatics division of
Siri Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a Bangalore based software company. Siri in collaboration with CytoGenomics Inc. has launched its first product in the market called
"SilicoCyte" a complete solution for Microarray Based Gene Expression Data
Analysis. I am working with the Research and Development team of the SilicoCyte.
As a Person
I am a honest, dedicated, and hard working person. I'm a guy of bit sentimental and shy nature, I love to laugh, I enjoy to be among friends. In leisure time I like to listen old hindi songs and read novels.
