Dre Dog - I Hate You With a Passion
Reviewed By: MoonChild
- I didn’t like this track, many did. It was short: 1 verse each. Still it
definitely brings up some powerful memories. Didn’t like the beat. 5/10.
- Wow! He did a video for this one surprisingly since most people release the
softest songs for the album. The lyrics and beat are too fucken hard, even for
today's standards, very dark, very intriguing. 10/10.
- This was sr8 for sum 3 a.m. shmebbin in tha bay. Had a "Chocolate Tai" smoove
feel to it, black C of RBL did the hook. A Frisco classic. 8/10.
- The hardest track on tha album. It starts off with real whales singing (more
like groaning!). The beat is too fucken hard and the lyrics tear through your
chest like a whale making a meal outta shark! I know I'll bump this one till my
heart stops. 20/10.
- Could never feel this one. It’s a filler to me. Mack-10 of Totally Insane dueted
on this one. 4/10.
- This was one of his famous accapellas. His newer ones will never compare to this
one, or the one on "Jim Jones." Track has no beat, raw lyrics, with a backround
overlay. He's gettin himself hype. You know he was high as fuck on this one! 7/10.
- His best fuck song to date. It features the Fillmoe Coleman Band doing the bass
guitar. Tight ass lyrics, tight ass beat. Real dark and yet still smoove. 10/10.
- A good filler track. A lot of that powerful energy in this one. Count how many times
he says muthafucka in this album! 7/10.
- The first Fillmoe Coleman instrumental. Un-topable in my eyes, blaze a fatty ta this
one. A true classic. 10/10.
- He used this beat twice on this album! It really does fit the album and he's pretty
much the only one that could get away with it. Hard ass beat, hard ass lyrics, funny
when he tries to talk too hard he stutters and goes check this out check this out,
like he messed up and kept going! Another classic. 8/10.
- When I was a kid this was my favorite song. It starts off with rain and thunder and
tells a story of, well, stress. The beat gets to the pit of your gut, and so do the
lyrics! Gives you this first glimpse of his softer side you already knew he possessed,
now he lets it out! 10/10.
- LoLo's first appearance, never liked her voice, but she do got sum lyrics. The only
part of this song I liked was the end part where Dre's like, "Stop bringin all them
damn blunts and bring sum weed sometimes!" An aight filler track. 6/10.
- Wow! Another ultimate classic! He used the score from Bruce Lee's "Enter The Dragon"
on it and the beat was sooo fucken hard! The lyrics are too rough too! The hook is a
guitar (not an irritating sound) for a creepy feel and wolves howling! A masterpiece
I must say! 10/10.
- A shout out track for everybody and they momma. The beat was fucken tight, he
shouldda did sumthin' with it! In the back-round you can hear the Frisco trademark
"Errrryyy" and other vocals. N/R.
- The other song with the "Killin of the Caine" beat, that's why it's subtitled
"Cocaine Murder Remix." He closed this up with raw power! His energy is off the
richter scaloe, and this time instead of closing the song with shouting "STOP," he
says it soft "Stop." A perfect ending to a perfect album. 8/10.
Overall I give it a (Rare For Me) 10. Raven came close to tie, but he never came as
angry as he did on this album, and to me it was a breath of fresh air amidst my teen
frustrations. Not the best way to deal with things, but it got me by and inspired me
to make my own music. A yrue underground rap classic. Thanks Nicky.
