The puppies are 5 weeks old

At the time of this update, the puppies are actually 6 weeks old, but I'm behind, so these are the 5 week photos.

This photo was actually taken more than a week ago, but I hadn't shared it yet. You can see that the puppies have enjoyed my lap so much that they zonked out. Little Sydney's eyes are barely open as Eden take the picture. Russia and Alaska are fast asleep.

Eden and her friend, Yolanda, wrapped a "dog house" for the puppies. With a window in front and on the roof, they had a blast exploring. Here we see Cuba who has just exited the house.

Here we see Eden playing with Berlin, India and Russia.

Eden inside the puppy area. Sahara has claimed her lap while Berlin, Cuba and Alaska watch.

Want to know what you can do to help?

1. Spay and neuter your own animals. Don't breed them for fun or profit; it's just not right. There are too many animals, of EVERY breed, that need a loving home. They're just waiting to be adopted. And, if you're still not sure of what I'm saying, take some time to go visit a couple of shelters in your area. Then, atleast you can make an informed decision.

2. Email the President of Spain and some other topnotch officials, as I did here, and tell them what you think about all this cruelty towards animals.

3. Donate unused or uneeded (clean) medical supplies to Scooby, a galgo refuge in Spain.

4. Volunteer at Scooby. You can do it! Part of your expenses are covered by rescue groups, and Scooby is desperately in need of help. Every year, hundreds of galgos find themselves at Scooby. Problem is, there's very few hands, and very little money.

5. Send some money to Scooby or to the American European Greyhound Alliance. In fact, instead of sending presents to us for Christmas or birthdays, send some money in our name to Scooby. How easy is that?

6. Shop online thru igive.com, choosing a greyhound rescue organization as your charity, and a percentage of your purchase cost will go to help rescue greyhounds (or galgos).

But if you don't remember any of the above but one thing, remember to

Spay and Neuter your pets.
