Sybill's Personality

Most believe that Sybill is a idiot and not capable of making "real" predictions but Dumbledore and Harry Potter know differently. Dumbledore is currently aware of two predictions that were "real" made by the strange Professor Trelawney. If you wish to read them you must got to the predictions part of the site.

Although you can understand why many would think this dear woman to be a false seer. You see our friend has made it a habit to tell predictions that are quite frankly crazy talk. This of course does not make me like her any less. Professor Trelawney happens to be very supersitious, especially when it comes to her gift. She believes that if she were to interact with the people and society around her too much it would cloud her vision.

During Harry Potter's fifth year at Hogwarts Professor Trelawney was sacked for no real reason. I was personally outraged that even a woman as horrid as Umbridge could attempt to throw, one as wise and talented as Trelawney out, in front of students! Afterwards Sybill was so upset about the whole mattera she ended up drowning in sherry. This goes to show as unattached as Sybill may try to appear, she too does lose her cool. Although under the conditions I think it was well called for.
