A food chain is a path of food from a given final consumer back to a producer. It shows the feeding relationship between organism and the direction of energy flow in an ecosystem.

However, the real world, is more complicated than a simple food chain . A diagram which shows all the possible feeding relationships among some organisms in the organism is called food web.No matter food web or chain, they can be divided into three main group, including producer, consumer and decomposer
