Heather's Body for Life Program

After Jeff proposed to me in December 2002 I stepped on the scale. Yipes! I was the heaviest I'd ever weighed, 160 pounds. The thoughts of an upcoming wedding, including a dress and pictures, shocked me into trying to lose weight. I had read Bill Phillips book, Body for Life, years before and decided to adopt some of his ideas to make my own fitness program. On this "modified" program I lost 20 pounds in 2003. In January 2004, with 6 months until the wedding, I decided to do an official Body for Life challenge and to follow Phillips program as it is exactly outlined in his book. I was happy at 140, but I figured I might as well give his program a try, I truly didn't think I would change much. Well I was SO WRONG!! During my 12-week challenge I lost 14 pounds and ended wearing a size 2!

So I am sold on the Body for Life program, I know it works for me and I have been consistently following it for all of 2004.
