Summer Tennis Programs & Membership
HTC - would like to thank the Steven Tech athletic department staff whom have all been helpful to us providing info on their summer tennis programs to our local community tennis sports club.
STEVEN'S SUMMER PROGRAMS - MAY 1st to AUGUST 31st - 4 Months
Many of our Hoboken Tennis Club members are planning on playing tennis this summer at Stevens Tech for the convenience. It's great after work. The programs for BEGINNERS look great - Clinics, lessons, and mixers so you can meet other playing partners.
If you think you might join the Steven summer tennis membership program, we would appreciate you telling us so we can join you for some tennis. We keep a list of Stevens tennis members and keep you in mind if you are looking for partners at Stevens. Additionally we would welcome your reviews of the Stevens programs offerings.
You'll have to make a contribution (pay) to use the Stevens Tech's Private Tennis Courts, which will help with their tennis court maintenance expenses. Please keep this in mind, your contribution may be well worth the tennis court availability and convenience their campus courts offer to a Hoboken tennis player.
If you don't want to wait for public tennis courts to become available at the two Hoboken Columbus Park tennis courts OR use your time to drive in evening rush hour traffic traveling to one of the larger County Parks, Stevens Tennis offers significant convenience. Best of all you can walk home.
A good number of our club members are planning on playing some of our tennis at Stevens Tech this summer. The bulk of our summer events are going not to have strict RSVPs. We hope you can join us.

He was appointed head men's and women's tennis coach at Stevens Institute of Technology in July of 2005. . Gachko, who is also the Director of the Stevens Summer Tennis Camp, will look to lead the men’s team to similar success in the spring. Gachko began his coaching career as an instructor at Brunswick Hills Racquet Club in East Brunswick, N.J., where he helped develop and market new tennis programs while training many adults and nationally-ranked juniors. Gachko has also served as an assistant pro at the Sea Bright Tennis Club in New Jersey. While at Sea Bright, Gachko coordinated the junior program, club tournaments, and adult clinics and also gave private lessons. Gachko has also been the assistant director for Nike's Tournament Tough tennis camp in Lawrenceville, N.J. A member of the United States Professional Tennis Association, Gachko received his master's degree in physical education and athletic management from the College of New Jersey in 2005. |

Stevens does not screen applicants of these programs for illness, injuries, allergies or other medical conditions, which would prevent or limit participation in any athletic or outdoor program. Events Notice * - We would please ask ALL participants
to assist with our group events. The more you help, the more fun our
events will be. Guests welcomed, the more, the merrier.
HTC - Hoboken Tennis Club is area community based All Volunteer Members sports interest association. HTC compliments and supports other Hoboken Area sports, social and community groups.All HTC event organizers donate their time and pay for their own participation fees in all events. Any group event fees that participants pay just cover the court rental fees and equipment costs. You are just paying your own way or your fair share of your own participation costs.Much like paying for your own dinner. Our volunteer group's individual event organizers make zero dollars, it's all volunteer and their time is donated.
Event Pre-payments are requested for fully confirmed guaranteed reserved player spots and are only requested so other tennis players aren't stuck with court costs, for no shows.
