The Hooters of Destin is located just east of the Destin bridge on U.S. 98. While the restaurant itself is not located directly on the beach, the location tends to attract most of the beach going locals and tourists. The store itself, while relatively small, provided an enjoyable experience for viewing a college football game. Our waitress (Leah), several of her co-workers, and the manager (Lonny) were particularly friendly in welcoming us to their "home away from home." In addition, the food was excellent and the other patrons were also very friendly and while we thoroughly enjoyed our time there, we had to cut it short to drive back to Gainesville. My only complaint about this restaurant would be the relatively small, and aesthetically cramped, non-smoking section... oh well!
