Coach/Train
If you are going to travel to Malaysia by coach/train, it is cheaper to purchase the coach/train tickets in Johore, Malaysia.
The fares are 50% cheaper for an overland trip to Malaysia and Thailand than in Singapore.
To get to Johore, Malaysia, you can board SBS Bus 170 or Causeway Link Bus outside Kranji MRT station. Alternatively, you can board SBS Bus 170 at Queen Street Bus Terminal. Alight at Larkin bus terminal in Johore. At the bus terminal, there will be many buses/coaches to all over Malaysia.

To get to the Malayan Railway station after clearing the Malaysia checkpoint, just walk over to the train station. For information on the railway, please check KTMB website.
To travel directly from Singapore to Malaysia by train, you can buy train tickets at Singapore Railway Station in Tanjong Pagar.
