WELCOME TO SIERRA'S WORLD
Please come on in and make yourself comfortable while I get you a cup of coffee or a nice glass of refreshing ice tea or lemonade, which ever you prefer. Take your time and relax and when you are ready we can began the tour of my home. Sierra is my webname and one that most people know me. But I answer to Shar or Sharon too!. I will tell you a little more about my family, friends and myself as you walk with me through Sierra's world. I will be adding and changing things all the time, so make sure you stop back and visit often.
I could not have even begun my journey into the creation of Sierra's world had it not been for all the help, patience and encouragement of one of my dearest friends Trudy, who you all know as TAZmo. Thank you Taz so very much. Your friendship is priceless . I know that I have kept Taz up many nights in need of her wisdom. She is pretty busy lady now since graduating from college and is now a grade school teacher and I find myself learning or at least trying to learn on my own now. I have made many friends thru the internet. Since becoming ill with many serious medical conditions, the web has become my life and I enjoy learning all I can about making my web site better. I have met so many friends on this internet highway
I was so excited the day I got my computer and went online. I had always wanted a computer but never gave it much thought until I went to visit my son John and his family in Utah. He has a computer and after a few minutes playing around on his, I was hooked. I was so excited the first day that I went online. I was definitly hooked from that very first day. I live far away from my family and over the last year most of them have home computers or webtv so I am able to keep in touch with them. It kind of brings me closer to home and family. I do miss them very much and now that I am unable to travel, the internet has become more important in keeping in touch. And as I grow older I have come to the realization that life is so very very short and we all are here for just a short while. So make the most of your life and spend as much time with a loved one or friend because one day when you least expect it, they will be gone. You can never say I love you too much
It has been a few years now since I got that first computer and have since gotten a newer one. I will be adding more to my web site over the next few months since I am housebound and have so much time on my hands. Oh yes, before you leave, please stop and sign my guest book to let me know you have stopped in
I was very fortunate to have met some of my online friends and it has left deep and ever-lasting memories in my heart. I hope that in this new year 2006 that I will get to meet alot more of my internet friends.
