Just last week we were talking about CRADLE OF FILTH doing US tour with a
session bass-player and were wondering, what's happened to Robin Graves???In fact, Robin Graves has LEFT the band! CRADLE has announced that there's no hard feelings between Robin and the other members of the band and that he has left for personal reasons. The search for the new bassist will begin as soon as CRADLE OF FILTH will return from USA. Oops! The one of Max's favourite bands has re-united and released the new album. This is THE QUIREBOYS from London, who just released their new album "This is Rock'N'Roll" after almost 8 years of silence! All you, Glam Rockers out there - go get it! ANDRE MATOS, the vocalist of Brazilian Power Metal legend ANGRA is planning to resurrect his former band VIPER. To remind you - VIPER was the first Power Metal band from Brazil, who managed to become famous outsides their own country. Their most successful album - "Soldiers Of Sunrise" (1989) has become a mega-seller and reminds the classic of the genre together with HELLOWEEN's "Keeper Of The Seven Keys", GAMMA RAY's "Heading For Tomorrow" and BLIND GUARDIAN's "Tales From the Twilight World". Looks like the famous TV series "Behind The Music" is turning METAL!!! After MEGADETH, who took part in the episode of the show a couple of months ago, another Heavy Metal heroes are about to hit the TV screens! This time it's JUDAS PRIEST, who will appear in the show on September 22. 
And a couple of very sad news! JOE RAMONE, the vocalist of the legendary
RAMONES has become a victim of cancer. As we know from the official sources,
Joe refused the medical treatment and passed away not so long ago.
Another rock musician, ROBIN CROSBY, the former guitarist of Glam Rock
veterans RATT is in Southern California Medical Centre, where he's taking a
full-time treatment from AIDS. He said he found out that he had a serious
immune system disease back in 1994, but he doesn't know, where he contracted
it.We also have to remind that a few more famous musicians is fighting for their lives now - Chuck Schuldiner (DEATH, CONTROL DENIED), Chuck Billy (TESTAMENT) and the guitar virtuoso EDDIE VAN HALEN are diagnosed with cancer. album. "Happy Ever After", the new work of American rockers is already
available world-wide and continues the good old traditions of the band!German AXXIS is ready to strike with the new CD. The album, entitled "Eyes Of The Darkness" will come out in September this year. Bernhard Weiss, the vocalist of the Melodic-Metal heroes, has confirmed the interview for the HOUSE OF NOIZZ. As an answer to the rumour that has been going around for a last couple of
days: ANDI DERIS is NOT leaving HELLOWEEN!The singer of HEAVEN'S GATE is NOT going to be a new HELLOWEEN vocalist! According to the official website of the band, HELLOWEEN is perfectly fine and there's NO any animosity between the band-members! In fact, the band will start the recording of the new album in November/December this year. The HOUSE OF NOIZZ warns those who spread the stupid rumours that you're risking to be turned into a big ugly pumpkin! LONG LIVE HELLOWEEN! 09.07.2001. According to Katherine Howell, the keyboard player of the Los Angeles Doom Metal sensation ELECTRIC FUNERAL ORCHESTRA, the new album of the band will not be unleashed until October 2001. The new opus, entitled "Time To Pray" will come out on the band's own recording company Funeral Records and will contain 11 tracks, including THE TROGGS' cover "Wild Thing". Meanwhile, the first single "Corruption Factor" is already released and available world-wide (why I'm not sure about New Zealand???). The "B-side" of the CD features the cover version of "Oops I Did It Again" by Britney Spears, recorded together with Kthulhu, the vocalist of Norwegian Black Metal trio REBORN. As Ms. Howell said in a short interview to our show, due to some problems, this track will NOT make it on "Time To Pray", so hurry up and try to buy the single! 
08.07.2001.The new album of the vocalist Michael Kiske (ex-HELLOWEEN) will come out in September this year on NOISE records. The album title is still unclear, but according to the producer Sebastian Vollmer, the album will be really heavy. Michael has also confirmed that he will sing on the solo album of STRATOVARIUS' guitarist TIMO TOLKKI. At the same time, the rumour about Kiske joining GAMMA RAY is entirely FALSE. Just take a look, what a nice looking fella! 05.07.2001. DAVE GROHL (FOO FIGHTERS, NIRVANA) is starting a new METAL project with KING DIAMOND, CRONOS (VENOM) and TOM G. FISCHER (CELTIC FROST). Hmmm... sounds like some kind of mockery... The Heavy Metal veterans ANGEL DUST are about to start the recording of the new album "OF HUMAN BONDAGE". The record will be produced by SIGGI BEMM (MOONSPELL, THE GATHERING). No release date so far. DARKANE is also preparing to start the recording of the new opus that will come out somewhere in August 2002, which is AGES away. Can't wait, hehehe... Sad news: melodic Death Metal band GARDENIAN from Sweden has split for personal disagreement.

According to Blackie Lawless, Chris left the band about two weeks ago to start a solo career. QUEENSRYCHE have lost their contract with Atlantic Records. The band is looking for another deal and recording the new album. No further information on when the album will be released nor what company will release it. Sad... 12.06.2001. Thrash Metal legend DESTRUCTION is ready to take the world by the storm once again. The second album after the reformation of the band is called "The Antichrist" and it's coming out in September this year. Track list features "Thrash Til Death", "Dectators Of Cruelty", "Meet Your Destiny", "Let Your Mind Rot" and more. The new live album of Swedish DISSECTION is about to be released in the beginning of 2002. Recorded on Storm Of The Light's Bane Tour, this will be the first release of the band for the last five years. HYPOCRISY is also prepeared to put out the next CD. "10 Years Of Chaos And Confusion" is the "Best Of" album that features the re-recorded versions of the band's classics, such as "Penetralia", "Left To Rot", "The Fourth Dimension", "Apocalipse". Limited edition also includes the bonus disc with one new song, video clip and the legendary demo that convinced NUCLEAR BLAST to sign HYPOCRISY back in the early '90s. Release date is not given yet. KOCH Records have re-released the first album of Hard Rock veterans BADLANDS. The self-titled album was originally released in 1989 and features Ray Gillan (vocals), Ozzy's guitarist Jake E. Lee, Kiss and Alice Cooper drummer Eric Singer and bassist Grag Chaisson. The album will come out on June 26th. 10.06.2001.

The new album of the godfathers of Progressive Metal DREAM THEATER will be released somewhere in the beginning of 2002 and according to the drummer MIKE PORTNOY, will be darker and heavier than some of the previous albums. Five songs are already recorded. No name or release date so far... HELLOWEEN have also anounced some dates for the new release. The recording of the next album will start in May 2002 and the album will appear a few months later. At the same time STRATOVARIUS, the Finnish Power Metal gods, have decided to take a two-year break. The last album - "INTERMISSION" - came out on 28th of May and features 4 new songs, and the number of Live and rare tracks. During their "holidays" the musicians will concentrate on the solo projects and the next STRATOVARIUS' album won't appear until 2004. And finally!!! We have to opologise for incorrect information that was given earlier: "Wolf And Raven" by SONATA ARCTICA is NOT the name of the new album, but a single that contains of two songs - "Wolf & Raven" and "Peacemaker". It was released in Finland May 25th. The 13-track album, entitled "SILENCE", will come out June 21st in Japan and July 16th in Finland. Japanese edition will also have a bonus track.

Just a year after the release of "HOUSE OF GOD", King and the boys are ready to shock the world with a brand new creation. Looks like KING DIAMOND is coming back to their traditional style of epic horror: the new album will be called "ABIGAIL, PART 2 - THE REVENGE". The guitarist Mike Wead is back in the gang, replacing Glen Drover, who decided to concentrate on his own project EIDOLON. BEWARE!:) IN FLAMES have finished mixing their first Live album - "TOKYO SHOWDOWN". The release date is still unclear. It's only known that it will appear in late summer. The solo album of STRATOVARIUS' vocalist TIMO KOTIPELTO will be released in the beginning of 2002. The Line-up features Mike Romeo (SYMPHONY X), Roland Grapow (HELLOWEEN), Janne Warman (CHILDREN OF BODOM), Mikko Harkin (SONATA ARCTICA) and a dozen of other musicians. No name of the album or the track-list is provided so far. 09.05.2001. SONATA ARCTICA, the power metal sensation from Finland, are ready to strike with the brand new album. "Wolf And Raven", the second album of the band, will be released on 21st of May. Absolute killer, "ECLIPTICA" was released in 1999, so the time has come! Waiting.... Kai Hansen and GAMMA RAY are promising to release the next opus - "NO WORLD ORDER" - on 10th of September and only two weeks later (24 September) another power metal band - EDGUY - are releasing their "MINDRAKE". Hopefully HOUSE OF NOIZZ could put the hands on some promos, but if not - we already have all these albums on order, so you'll hear them anyway. There is NO WAY TO ESCAPE! 05.05.2001. First of all it's a SAD news - the departure of Martin Walkyier from SKYCLAD. We find it very difficult to judge this move of his, but we surely will support anything that both Martin and SKYCLAD would do in the future and keep you in the centre of events. The band has anounced, that "BELIEVE" was their last studio album and the last recording ever for CREMATORY will be the live album that coming out later this year. We also have a good news: LAKE OF TEARS, the gothic-rockers from Sweden are ready to release the brand new CD "THE NEONAI" in the end of June 2001. The last recording, "FOREVER AUTUMN" (1999) was an absolute masterpiece, so we can only hope that the band will carry on in the same direction.
