C.O.R. Officers Mark Elgersma (12 beat) and Dave Kelday (5 beat) join London Police Chief Al Gramolini answering questions at the November HRABA meeting.I am looking forward to this new year 2001. We will start the year with our first meeting being at the New Life Centre January 10th.. One of our members, Bruce Rankin from Community Living will be our speaker. February. Inge Sanmiya from the Western Fair will be showing some interesting historical slides of the Hamilton Road / Western Fair area. This talk about our heritage will certainly help us to promote and market our business area with the heritage theme. In March our Mayor Anne Marie DeCicco will give us the latest on the economic development plans for London.
Another idea I have for the new year is the opportunity to talk about your business. This could be telling us how it started, whether it is a family business, what made you start the business, how long, and why you chose this area etc. Over the next few months quite a few people would have this opportunity.
Last meeting I mentioned briefly the idea of us having a float in the Santa Claus Parade for 2001. I will be checking with the Jaycees for all the necessary data. §
