The Superboy: Hypertension arc (Superboy 60-65) went a long way towards showing fans that Hypertime could be used to tell a good story, and that it wasn't going to mean the beginning of editorial indifferance to continuity. In fact, "Hypertension" paid homage to many elements of DCU continuity, and it all came together in possibly the best Superboy story arc to date.
