Science and Nature

Science

Where do we start in Science? Here's an idea. Use a spiral bound plain paper notebook (found in the art section with paints, and drawing paper). Take a walk in nature at a nearby park, field, your own back yard, lake, ocean or forest. You and your child can draw something you find there. An animal track, animal, leaves, rock, whatever you like. Look up the object in a field guide at home or in the library. You can do a further study if your children show greater interest by finding books on the subject, story books, learning videos and more.
