ACADEMIC TESTS Each delegate must take at least two academic exams at his current level of Latin but may take as many as they wish in the 90 minute period.. All students who take the exams should bring a #2 pencil and eraser to the test room. Each student should remember to put his/her name, school, and level of Latin on the answer sheet. Answer sheets missing any of this information will be disqualified. Exams will be given in the following categories: • Latin grammar and language (level 1,2, 3/4 prose, 3/4 poetry,5) Oral Academics: Oral Academics is a contest between the top scorers on the grammar test. The top 6 scorers at each level are eligible to be in oral academics. No certamen finalists are eligible. No more than one student per school is eligible. • Roman History and Culture (Level 1,2,3,4,5) • Mythology (Level 1,2,3,4,5) • Roman Life (Level 1,2,3,4,5) • Derivatives (Level 1,2,3,4,5) • Mottoes and Abbreviations (Level 1,2,3,4,5) • Vocabulary (Level 1,2,3,4,5) • Pentathlon |
