I like this story, it's very addicitve. Although it sorta starts out like your average magical girl story, it starts to pick up in the second chapter. My only wish would be for the voice actors to talk louder. Some of them are rally hard to hear, even with the music off. Guys, please speak up! Other than that, a good Kami. |

That... and the Rent!
Author: Rikki Hyperion
Artist: Rikki Hyperion |
Pearl has to take up the hard task of managing her father's item shop and taking care of her little brother Krys and the results are hilarious! You see Pearl isn't exactly the most calm person ever and Krys, even though he tries can be way too over zealous. This is a great story!

Rikki does it again! This story is really funny (though I wouldn't say side-splitting hilarious) and the cute drawings add to the effect. I was kind of worried after watching the serious beginning but once Pearl takes control of the shop the fun begins. I don't know if this is going to have another part or not. It could stand alone as a single story, but more parts would definatly be great. One thing I was marvled by was Rikki's sense of background (by this I mean the actual background in the pictures, not the characters' background). This is something that is always hard for me, so it was great to see actual backgrounds established. It felt as if you were actually in the shop since everything seemed to be mapped out. What great detail!!! |

When Evelyn was put into a psychiatry hospital she thought that her life couldn't get worse. One day two men took her to another world. At first it was good, but then she started to wonder if it wasn't even more trouble... |

The plot is unbelievably twisted and it doesn't let you go away until you've finished reading. It's great! For me, it goes straight into my Top Ten. The art is also wonderful, in some places a bit rough, but that's a part of this kami's charm. Go read it, I command you!

Very fun story, although a bit clichee. Good pics, some animations and a bit of voiceacting thrown in. Grammar, you say? Hey, I'd like to see you try Polish! |

This is classic Magical Girls at its best. Although rather "cute" in the first few chapters, it begins to get serious after the fourth part. She tells the story rather well for someone whose second language is English, but could use a little bit of grammar improvement. And the author also gets brownie points for not basing the Guardians' uniforms on sailor fukus! |
Storyline: A- |
(Good pacing, but grammar and spelling can use a little work) |
Art: B+ |
(Looks like a Paint Shop Pro "template" design. The plus is for the WONDERFUL artwork in Part 7.) |
Music and Sound: B- |
(Voices are too loud and have a lot of static. There isn't very much original music, as the themes are repeated from chapter to chapter.) |
Special Effects and Bonuses: B+ |
(The plus is for great animation in Part 7, otherwise it's not really that bad) |
OVERALL: B+ |
