This is Venice at dusk, a small off-the-tourist-track canal. The colors here look doctored, but they aren't. Venice, our hotel's canal at night. The hotel is the yellow building with the green letters on the left. The venice coast. This is probably my favorite picture of all of them. Grand canal at night.
Decrepit but lovely buildings in Venice. They all look water-soaked. The domes of St. Marks from above. The flood, covering the alley beneath my hotel window. (Note the boards floating up it and the lack of pavement.) Another gorgeous canal shot.
Palazzo at dusk. Venetian Gothic windows. I like this because it shows the typical sense of decay in Venetian buildings. The Colisseum from afar. Hotel window, Rome.
The Angeli bridge. Sunset in Rome at the top of the Spanish steps. The villa next to our hotel. A nun at St. Peters.
Montepulciano's main street. The gates to Montepulciano. Geraniums are everywhere in Tuscany. The one picture of me I like from the trip.
The view off the balcony in Farneta. Imagine waking up to this every morning. The back of Notre Dame. The Eiffel tower at night. Paris at dusk.
Eiffel tower, below. Market day in Paris. Fancy schmancy Paris shot. Inside Notre Dame.
