Notre Dame's towers. This was the first thing we saw, since it was within a few blocks of the hotel. Night scene on Rue de Rivoli. I was sitting here waiting for Sid to buy cigars and decided to play with the light meter. The back of Notre Dame. Inside. This is a little fuzzy, but you get a sense of the space.
View up at gargoyles. The square at Place Voisges. Typical French architecture. Another view inside Notre Dame, and one of my favorite pictures.
Shortly before the trip, I'd read the complete correspondence of Abelard and Heloise... ...so I was very excited to see their tombs. Jacki and John and Pere LaChaise The grave of Colette.
Chopin's grave. Moliere. This was interesting, and kind of vampiric. Shots of the cemetery.
Market scene. A freestanding spire behind Notre Dame. Typical street view. Jacki, John and Sid walking along the parkway behind the Eiffel Tower.
A view of the Eiffel Tower from below. Across the river. I love this picture. There's a big spotlight that rotates on top of the tower, and I caught it at just the right point. The Eiffel Tower during the day.
