Dale Eden

Dale Eden Born March 4, 1920, demonstrated an aptitude for automotive mechanical skills early in life.

During World War II, Dale served as an apprentice mechanic servicing PT-17, PT-19 and PT-22 aircraft used for primary pilot flight training in Bylthe, California.  Following the war, Dale became a licensed aircraft mechanic servicing general aviation aircraft.  Dale was employed as an aircraft mechanic for American Airlines in 1947.

During his career, American Airlines offered Dale  the opportunity to upgrade  to the position of professional flight engineer.   His career included flight operations in Douglas DC-6, DC-7, DC-10, Boeing B-727, B-707 and B-747 aircraft.

After completing thirty-seven years of dedicated airline service, Dale retired and shared his good fortune with his wife, Mary Elizabeth until her death on January 4, 2002.   Dale's professionalism coupled with his honesty and integrity, establish a standard difficult to match.
