Campbell Aviation Scholarship
Fund This is an Aviation Scholarship Fund established to recognize contributions individuals and corporations have made to promote aviation. Terms of the scholarship were difficult to negotiate and have been carefully designed to provide maximum benefits for the recipients of the scholarship. All contributors to this fund will be added to the list as sponsors of aviation. No contribution is too small. Objective The objective of the Eden · Campbell Aviation Scholarship Fund is to establish a
perpetual scholarship fund to aid individuals seeking a Bachelor of Science
degree in aviation. Structure The Southeastern Foundation, a division of Southeastern Oklahoma State University, Durant, Oklahoma, manages the fund. Current principal value of the fund is $40,000. Scholarships totaling $5,000 have been given to listed recipients. The principal of this fund will not be commingled with any other scholarship fund. The principal of this fund will never be distributed as part
of the scholarship or used for expenses. Scholarships will be for Actual Flight Expenses only. One half of the annual interest earned will be distributed as the annual scholarship. The remaining interest is retained to the fund’s principal. Seventy five per cent of the annual interest earned will be distributed as scholarships, if and when the principal value matures to $500,000.00.
