No way to treat families of modern-day heroes
"ALL the OFW [overseas Filipino workers] families sought
was immediate action to address the plight of their loved
ones. MIGRANTE Party List joined Migrante International and
the families in a camp-in at the Overseas Workers Welfare
Administration (OWWA) to press for the immediate repatriation
of 16 stranded OFWs in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. What we got was
violence from those who were supposed to advance our rights
and welfare!
