Second nominee John Leonard Monterona is MIGRANTE
Sectoral Party's Vice Chairperson. A long-time Spokesperson
for MIGRANTE, he was a professor at Pamantasang Lungsod ng
Maynila and pioneered the formation of migrant youth group,
Kabataang Migrante para sa Bayan (KAMI 'yan).
Prof. CAROLINA ALMEDA, MIGRANTE's third nominee representing
migrants in the United States is more popularly known as the
former Chairperson of COURAGE, the alliance of government
employees.
Other nominees include ROWENA FLORES from Italy, EDGAR C. CADANO from Saudi Arabia
representing MIGRANTE Middle East, ADOR OLAVERE from Belgium and FLORA BELINAN,
a migrant worker from the Cordilleras representing MIGRANTE Hong Kong.
