The Miracle Can Happen
One late afternoon, after rehearsing with "New Voices of Joy" gospel choir (directed by Nehemiah Brown), I was sitting, quite sadly, at the piano inside the St. James Church, in Florence. My life was a mess, I kept saying to myself: "All I need is a real miracle, a miracle of love" and so, as tears were running down my face, the piano seemed playing on its own...
Some months later, the song "Miracle of Love" was recorded. At that time, my dear friend's mother was taken to the Hospital with a major heart problem: she had an abdominal aortic dissection. Urgent surgery had to be performed, with very few chance to make it. My dear friend heard the song "Miracle of Love" and asked me if she could play it for herself and for her mother, at the Hospital. She was into a coma. For over two months the song was played over and over until one day my friend's mother woke up and the doctors declared her out of danger. Well, I like to think that the incredible faith of my friend Linda and my song together made the "miracle"...
If you have lost some of your hopes, remember, the miracle of love can always happen, our entire existence is a miracle. Try to listen to my song.
