RP channel logs: Solo: Aelida

[RP]: (Aelida): Aelida entered the service of Floyd, the Sendar questmaster. For several months he had her delivering letters non stop. He then decided to give her a week of rest while she was in Tol Honeth.
[RP]: Aelida looks at the merchant, waiting for her payment.
[RP]: Aelida mutters 'I wish he'd hurry up. After this I have a week to myself.'
[RP]: Aelida nods as the fat Tolnedran hands her pouch of coins and thanks her for her services.
[RP]: Aelida thinks 'And this time I kept all my clothes on! I'm so glad I left that life behind.'
[RP]: Aelida looks around the plaza looking for a tavern she could get some dinner at.
[RP]: (Aelida): she wandered for nearly a half hour, taking in the sights until she saw a tavern with a large sign in the shape of a busty mermaid.
[RP]: Aelida says 'This looks like an interesting place.'
[RP]: Aelida giggles.
[RP]: (Aelida): Walking in Aelida found the interior well lighted and clean. She chose a seat along the far wall and beckoned to the barmaid.
[RP]: (Aelida): The barmaid came over and asked 'Can I get you something?'
[RP]: Aelida says 'yes, I'd like some ale and whatever is freshly cooked.'
[RP]: (Aelida): (barmaid) Well the cook just started a roast pig this morning, we also have fresh bread made today and some baked apples.
[RP]: Aelida says 'I'll take that then!'
[RP]: Aelida smiles at the barmaid, and hands her some coins.
[RP]: Aelida says 'keeps the ale coming!'
[RP]: Aelida watched the barmaid walk away, looking admiringly at her beautiful figure.
[RP]: (Aelida): The barmaid promptly returned with a plate of roast pork bread and baked apples. Aelida flashed a brilliant smile at the barmaid. The barmaid tentatively smiled back. 'Need another ale?'
[RP]: Aelida nods.
[RP]: (Aelida): since it was late in the afternoon there were few customers in the small tavern. Aelida ate slowly, watching the barmaid at her tasks.
[RP]: Aelida swore that the barmaid was flashing smiles in her direction.
[RP]: Aelida began to notice that the cute barmaid spent twice as much time at her table than the other customers.
[RP]: Aelida says 'miss?' She beckoned the barmaid over.
[RP]: (Aelida): The barmaid flashed a bright smile and walked over to Aelida's table. 'Another ale my lady?'
[RP]: Aelida chuckles 'lady is not a word I'd use to describe me! However if you want to call me lady, you may.'
[RP]: Aelida looks pointedly at the barmaid.
[RP]: Aelida says 'what is your name?'
[RP]: (Aelida): The barmaid blushes slightly. 'Deliza, and may I ask yours?' Realizing her boldness Deliza began to blush even more.
[RP]: Aelida says 'my name is Aelida, it is a pleasure to meet someone as lovely as you.'
[RP]: (Aelida): Deliza looked around and bent closer to Aledia's ear. I leave here in an hour, would you care to meet me at the fountain in the town square then?
[RP]: Aelida says 'yes I would.'
[RP]: Aelida handed the barmaid her tip as she strode out of the tavern. Deliza stood near the door watching the Algar girl leave appreciatively.
[RP]: (Aelida): an hour later Aelida was waiting by the fountain. Her thoughts were racing through her head.
[RP]: Aelida thinks 'Why am I doing this?'
[RP]: Aelida thinks 'I have not actively pursued another since I found Gallia.'
[RP]: Aelida thinks 'I mean what if it happens again? And Deliza gets killed or shunned by her family?'
[RP]: Aelida thinks 'I mean my kind of life is not generally accepted.'





[RP]: (Aelida): The minutes ticked by as Aelida waited by the fountain for Deliza.
[RP]: Aelida was beginning to worry until she saw Deliza walking to her.
[RP]: Aelida smiles happily.
[RP]: Aelida says 'Hello.'
[RP]: (Aelida): Deliza blushes. 'Hello.'
[RP]: Aelida says 'want to go for a walk?'
[RP]: (Aelida): Deliza nods. The two women walk to a nearby park they stand close, but not close enough to elicit stares.
[RP]: Aelida says 'so, tell me about yourself.'
[RP]: (Aelida): Deliza shyly begins to tell her of her life and how she knew she was... different.
[RP]: Aelida nods.
[RP]: (Aelida): As they walk through the park, Aelida tells Deliza of her life and of her beloved Gallia.
[RP]: (Aelida): Deliza looks at Aelida in horror. 'They killed her?'
[RP]: Aelida nods.
[RP]: Aelida says 'and I would have died too if I hadn't left.'
[RP]: (Aelida): There was silence for a bit as the two walked. Tentatively, Deliza slipped her hand into Aelida's. 'You have no worries about that kind of hate here in Tol Honeth. Its is unspoken but our kind keep quiet and we stick together.'
[RP]: Aelida says 'really?'
[RP]: (Aelida): Deliza nods.
[RP]: Aelida sits on a bench. Deliza sits next to her 'We have places where we can go and feel comfortable just being ourselves. I know of such a place, it has good food.'
[RP]: Aelida giggles 'Are you asking me on a date?'
[RP]: (Aelida): Deliza chuckles 'I think I am.'
[RP]: Aelida says 'well I accept.'
[RP]: Aelida thinks 'Is this happening? Would Gallia forgive me? Do I dishonour her memory by moving on?'
[RP]: (Aelida): Deliza senses Aelida's thoughts. 'I think she would want you to move on, Aelida. She would want you to be happy. To find another love is not a bad thing, you have your life to live. I like you and I want to be a part of that life if you let me.'
[RP]: (Aelida): Deliza takes Aelida's face in her hands and kisses her gently on the lips. 'Move on and honour her love by living happily.'
[RP]: (Aelida): Deliza stands up and holds out her hand. 'Now, let's go and live life to the fullest!'
[RP]: Aelida looks into the beautiful Tolnedran's face. There is life there and happiness.
[RP]: Aelida stands up and wraps her arms around Deliza, kissing her deeply. Several passers-by look shocked at the sight of the two women kissing, but they could care less.
[RP]: (Aelida): As Deliza and Aelida walk out of the park, thy hold hands, not caring who sees them together, but just enjoying each other's company.

[RP]: (Aelida): Aelida yawned. The sun shone in through the gauzy curtains, it was morning. She rolled over and looked at the sleeping Deliza next to her. She was lovely.
[RP]: Aelida says 'Good morning sweetness.'
[RP]: (Aelida): There was no response from Deliza. She just lay there. Aelida rolled her over to look in her dead eyes. A pool of blood covered the side of the bed. There was a large Algar sabre sticking out of her gut.
[RP]: Aelida screams loudly!
[RP]: Aelida says 'no! No! Not again!!!!'
[RP]: (Aelida): Aelida was screaming as Deliza shook her awake. There were tears in her eyes. Wake up Aelida! Aelida opened her eyes, she looked around. Crying she embraced Deliza and held her tightly.
[RP]: Aelida says 'I thought I lost you'
[RP]: Aelida says 'I woke up and you were dead, with a sabre in your gut and lots of blood.'
[RP]: (Aelida): Deliza looks at her 'I am very much alive and well. Do not worry darling I will not die. I am yours forever.'
[RP]: Aelida nods.
[RP]: Aelida says 'I don't want you to leave. I want to stay here forever in your arms.'

[RP]: Aelida sat, looking at her plate.
[RP]: (Aelida): Taren, seeing Aelida's distracted need, looks at her with concern. He lay a ruffled hand on hers. 'Is there something wring dahling?'
[RP]: Aelida shakes her head.
[RP]: Aelida says 'I'm just thinking.'
[RP]: Aelida sighs as she eats a bit of food.
[RP]: Aelida says 'I just feel as if I have nothing in me, no feelings, no purpose.'
[RP]: Aelida says 'I looked for clues and I found nothing. Deliza's murderer is still out there.'
[RP]: Aelida says 'I am not finding anything that the legionnaires didn't. I have to give up, I can't go on like this.'
[RP]: (Aelida): Taren nodded, he was wondering when Aelida would move on.
[RP]: Aelida says 'I just have nothing...to live for'
[RP]: (Aelida): Tears began to flow down her cheeks at that time. Taren silently handed her a lacy handkerchief.
[RP]: Aelida sobs 'I can't see any future for me.'
[RP]: Aelida sniffs sadly.
[RP]: (Aelida): Taren waits for her sobs to lessen. 'Dahling, you have many years ahead of you. I love your company, but you need to go back home, away from here go work, find Shinara, she may be able to help you.'
[RP]: Aelida nods.
[RP]: Aelida says 'I should, I am doing no good here. I need to find a purpose.'
[RP]: Aelida smiles at her garish little friend. She will go out, back to wandering, she will then find her purpose.
