Completely revised the whole website. Most of that the revision is not visible for the site visitors but regards the internal organization so in the future site maintenance will be easier. 24th:	The home page counter rolled over the 100,000 mark! So it's time for a little statistics: Total number of  hits is 504.114. Counting of the home page began December 18th 1997, that's 613 days ago so it's 163 visitors a day with 822 hits. 13th:	Edited page 600 Pullmann W100 and all other W100 Variants after receiving an interesting email from Danny of Hollywood, FLA. who mentioned the Presidential Landaulet to be missing on that page and also mentioned the Pullmann variants with no outer door handles on the middle doors. By dealing with the latter subject was found out that there were even Pullmanns with an outer door handle at the left hand side middle door but had none at the right hand side middle door! So the W100 is the only car known of which was built with two, four, five or six door handles. Seems to be the subject is hard to handle... Also five of the six photos were reformatted to load progressively and now are smaller in file size, too. The loading time for the page now is significantly shorter than before.
6th:	Still digging deeply in the possibilities Adobe Photoshop 4.01 offers: All photos of page Ponton Specialties W120 Pick-Up,Cabrio,Taxis etc.  reformatted so they now load progressively with three scans. This means at first every photo is loaded in very low resolution only, when all photos have been loaded that way all start to be loaded in a higher resolution and after that in their final resolution. This was done so the persons viewing get a very quick intention of what's shown in the photos. The loading time for the page now is significantly shorter than before.

January

27th   to  31st:	First feedback about new design arrives. All vote for it but also name things they particularly don't like. After carefully thinking about each single point mentioned most of the suggestions were realized. This also includes the addition of this page which still needs precise formatting and another background logo.
26th:	Edited first pages with new light design, relief-style background images, new animated jaguar image and added free-speech-online logo. Also checked all photos of these pages and newly compressed most of them from the original scans. This was done to reduce image sizes to keep loading times shorter and to save limited server space. Sent emails to various people already gotten feedback from and asking them to have a look at the new design and to judge about it.
