MArilyn Manson features in the news page of Kerrang today
here is the article
MARILYN MANSON appeared at the District Court in Clarkston, Michigan on September 21. Manson turned up voluntarily to respond to charges that he indecently assaulted a security guard during a gig at the DTE Energy Music Theatre in independence Township on July 30. John O' Brien, Oakland County's chief deputy prosecutor, alleged that Manson rubbed his genitals on the guard's head. Wearing very little make-up and responding to his real name, Brain Warner, Manson pleaded 'not guilty' to the charges.
Manson's attorney, Walter Piszcatowski, has denounced the charges as "Ludicrous" saying: "This was part of his act and had no sexual intent whatsoever. It's protected. It was clearly artistic expression."
Manson will return to Clarkston on November 9 for further questioning after being allowed to leave the state. If convicted, he faces a maximum possible sentence of two years in prison for 'fourthdegree criminal sexual conduct'.
Kerrang! understands that Manson and his legal team are quietly confident of emerging unscathed from the trail. The prosecution are likely to have to prove that Manson gained sexual gratification from the indicent. Security at the gig in question were apparently briefed on the nature of Manson's performance, which suggests that the charges against the singer are unlikely to hold up in court.

Marilyn Manson pleaded "not guilty" to charges of sexual assault in a court in Clarkston, Michigan last Friday afternoon (21st September).
The self-appointed 'god of fuck', whose real name is Brian Warner, denied charges that stem from him allegedly spitting at and rubbing his crotch in the face of 25-year-old security guard Joshua Keasler at an Ozzfest show in Oakland in July.
The king of shock rock was accused of two counts: felony fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct, defined in the court complaint as engaging in sexual contact with another person using force or coercion; and misdemeanour assault and battery.
Manson left court on a $25,000 personal bond, and is due back for a preliminary hearing on 9th November 9 for a preliminary examination of the charges, the spokesperson said.

Marilyn Manson has posted two messages on the Official BBS about the crazy explodings in America here are the two messages
Message 1
WAR
We all knew this day would come. My best wishes go out to those families who lost their loved ones. I also have friends in NY and of course here in LA that I am still concerned about. The only thing we can do now is to stick together.
If it takes something this terrible to unite us, so be it.
America hasn't always stood by me, but I will surely stand by America. Let's never forget how lucky we are to have so much freedom.
Marilyn Manson
Message 2
AMERICA
I have always said that I hate so much and love so much about this country. Of course we would love more freedom, but let's not forget what we already have. And the freedom to live without fear.
When I say for us to unite I mean as like-minded individuals and as friends. I don't expect the country to come together because of this tragedy, but at least we can here.
Everyone is scared and confused and I wish I had more to offer. Right now I have my friends and family to worry about. I hope you all stay safe.
And for those who want to make ignorant comments about my feelings on this, you are entitled to your opinion but you can always take it somewhere else.
Even someone like me can show respect for those killed yesterday and for the people protecting our lives.
I expect the rest of you to as well.

Nicola Raphael took an overdose of painkillers eight weeks ago after being bullied at school Manson showed the crowd a picture of her and dedicated a song to her memory before meeting her mother Rona Raphael after the show at Glasgow’s Gig On The Green and comforting her.
Rona told the Daily Record: "I was so touched that this mega-star took time out to meet me.
"Despite all the controversy about him and his shows, he just seemed like a normal man to me. He was very caring and considerate."
She added: "I know that nothing is going to bring Nicola back but I found the experience of meeting Marilyn incredibly helpful.
"Marilyn and his kind of music played a huge part in Nicola's life, so it was great to meet him and tell him that."

Marilyn Manson was the subject of an hour long documentary on channel 4, which was broadcasted on tuesday August 21st 2001 as part of the public enemy number one series.
the programme covered the seemingly motive-less brutal murder of a nun by three teenage catholic girls in the small italian town of Chiavenna and the subsequent media backlash against Marilyn Manson as his God Guns and Government tour moved through Italy.
The programme revealed how police investigating the case cited notebooks containing references to Manson and satanic graffiti as possiblelinks to the murder. Amoung the localpeople interviewed, many claimed Manson was a cult leader capable of exerting great power. The three girls were known to have partaken in self-abuse prior to the murder, and each was understood to come from backgrounds that lacked parental responsibility.
Manson was interviewed extensively on the programme. He was quick to distance himself from those involved with the killings. Pointing out that, alongside his work, copies of the bible were also present in the girls homes.
2 of the girls were later sentenced to eight years in prison for the first degree murder, the thrid was acquitted but sentenced to three years in rehabilitation. The Manson tour wentahead as planned

Marilyn Manson struck back at his critics during a speech at the new music west 2001 festival in Vancouver, Canada on May 11th. In front of an audience of over 1,000 fans and conference delegates at the commodore ballroom, Manson delivered a brief speech dealing with numerous subjects including the media's coverage of the Columbine massacre and the singer's subsequent role as media scapegoat for the tragedy. Said Manson: "it was amazing and disgusting to me that they put faces of the two shooters on the cover of 'ttim' magazine, rather than the victuims. America really loves to glorify murderers and put them on the same status as celebrities."
