The Flipside

Welcome to the Flipside of my website, featuring Anime's Most Annoying Guys and The Leading Ladies of Anime! Thank God I finally managed to post it! In the last week since it first went up, I've gotten a good number of suggestions Ihope to put up soon. Keep on coming back, okay?

So, why the heck is it called the Flipside? Well, there are 2 reasons: first of all, I am a Filipino, and 'flip' is the highly colloquial, kinda rude street slang version of the word 'filipino.' (Note: Only Filipinos can call each other 'flips'--a person of another nationality doing so would offend the Filipino in question. It just is =)

Actually, this portion of my website is termed the Flipside because it is the exact opposite of the other sections here: The Leading Men versus Anime's Most Annoying Guys and The Leading Ladies of Anime versus Anime's Most Annoying Women--get the drift? One site is the flipside of the other.

I even took pains to make the names of the sections similar and the naming convention the same, so that there can be no doubt that the sites are related. If you haven't visited my site before, the first and the last sections have been up for a year now, and Flipside sites are directly related to the feedback I've gotten over the months about equal time.

However, I decided that the flipside sites do not have to be mutually exclusive. What do I mean? Well, for example, Asuka Souryu Langly of Evangelion is listed in the Holier Than Thou category of the Annoying Women--yet she was also suggested for the Hell's Belles catgory in the Leading Ladies. So long as you can defend your suggestion, I will post it. Heck, I might as well call this site the "Revenge of the Slighted," as those fans of characters who were bashed in Anime's Most Annoying Women or those who hate the guys feted in the Leading Men can now nominate the character for the category of the opposite persuasion!
