Why Civil Service?
The country I born, the world's largest democracy with a population of over 1 billion (100 crore), certainlyrequires helping hands not only from it's young citizens but also from the world community. As a true human being, got educated and became one among the top 1% fortunate people using mother India's resources; I should work for her, and I should participate in activities to make all other children of her "prosper" -before I start working for the world community. I wanted to be one among the hundred young men that Swami Vivekananda had looked for to serve the whole world.
I had been looking for means to achieve this goal. Recently (2001), I came up with the answer: "become a Civil Servant of India" could be the best means for me at this time. And so I decided to start preparing for civil services exam as first step of my journey towards the service/revolution.
Do you have the same fire within you, to server your mother land and/or the world, and would like me to join you? Or, would you like to join me? Or, do you completely disagree with me? Please let me know at: tar_amir@yahoo.com
Note: I failed in my last attempt in the year 2004.
