EARLY- It's never too early to make arrangements.
You will be surprised at the money you can save by booking
suppliers early on. |
| PENCIL
BOOK- This is a reservation with no commitments from
both you and supplier.What's usually done is to temporarilt
block-off the date pending your confirmation. Do note that
each wedding suppliers may have a different policy. |
| HAGGLING-
Haggle only if you are seriously considering getting the products/services
of the supplier. |
| COMPARISON-
It is quite quite distasteful to quote a competitor's rate
and use it as a bargaining tool to your preferred supplier. |
| EVERYTHING
IN WRITING- This will make things easier for you
if anything should go awry. Read the contract well. |
| DEPOSIT,
RESERVATION FEE, OR DOWNPAYMENT- Clarify with your
supplier if payment of such exempt you from any price increase
in the future. |
| BOOKING-
Read the contract before your sign. Take note of the terms
and payment. Ask for a receipt. |
| BACKING
OUT- If you really must, make sure you inform your
suppliers as early as possible and don't leave them hanging. |
| TIPS
AND THANKS- Aside from tipping, make your suppliers
feel how much you appreciate their efforts during your wedding. |
