1950 Ford Custom Four Door SedanThese little cars were sold through Kellogg's Pep cereal as a .25 cent mail-in offer and also as a mail-in offer from Cracker Jacks in comic book ads. They also came with a two finger ring and both the ring and car had magnets attached to magically move the vehicle. These cars were molded in butyrate and mild warpage has often occurred in this series. The 1950 model had the letters "FORD" above the grille and in very fine lettering on the trunk. It came in one model with three colors for this year, orange, yellow and light blue. This series is rare and little is known about them including the manufacturer. |
