We had a choice of doing any subject in any media. Since I always liked pastels, I thought I'd give it a go. This is the offering.

Depicting Nelson Mandela (or what is supposed to be him) against the backdrop of the South African flag. I hope this drawing does him justice although the scan does look a suspiciously more like him than the actual drawing. But hey.
