The bay of coconuts (Green ones, not brown hairy ones)

This was the second required piece. Now, before you say it looks like a kids drawing, just know that this was my very first attempt at water colour - and if you have ever attempted it, you will know that it's an extremely tricky medium to work with, particularly if you have no knowledge of the skills you are stupposed to use.

The paint I am used to working with is what I suppose would be poster colour. Pigment, mixed with water, which gives you an opaque paste which is easier to get the desired effects with. I sucked at that too, but with water colour it's even worse. It depicts a scene from Kota Kinabalu (and not that accurately either).
