Incarnation Five

28th of May, 2002 - 12:42 AM
The grand opening of Incarnation Five. This is by no means the end of the editing of this incarnation, though. I'm thinking of changing the base colour of the site from gray to another colour. I don't know which colour, yet. New aspects of the site include... well, there are less graphics, so some pages shall load faster, and I've set up a new thumbnail system for the image galleries, which shall allow for fast loading there as well.

3rd of June, 2002 - 12:33 AM
Okay, I feel stupid now. When I created the Main Page for this site, I forgot about moving the image galleries back to Geocities. I've fixed the problems there, and the links should work without error now. I also repaired the Java applet on the Misc. Info. page... and I think that's all. I'm starting to think I may need a staff, but if I did that, I would have to expand my site. Ah well. There is a new image I'm working on, but it won't be finished for a while.

7th of June, 2002 - 2:26 AM
Alright, a slight update today. A new image has been entered into the image section. I've changed the e-mail address with which I shall deal with e-mails from this site. Any and all e-mails for this site should be directed to quietzephyrus@hotmail.com. I shall no longer respond to site related e-mail to the other address. Also, I've been cleaning up the site a bit (removing excess html, css, and JavaScript), so if something suddenly disappears, that's why.

9th of June, 2002 - 1:07 AM
I added a new poem to the site. Yes, you can cheer. To celebrate, I've created a set of frames for easier navigation of the section. Not to worry for those of you that cannot see frames on your browser, there is still a non-frame section.

14th of June, 2002 - 2:36 AM
Editing the site again. The cleanup is done, so all should be well. You might have noticed the alterations to this page as well. Yesterday I put up "self-scrolling updates," but I didn't like it, so you'll have to scroll these yourself. I removed the frames poetry section, as I couldn't see the usefulness of this any longer. The Links section has be changed, and new links have been added. I removed the angry smilie in exchange for the stressed smilie (which I made myself). Hopefully a new poem shall be put up tomorrow.

15th of June, 2002 - 1:04 AM
Added a poem to the newly created Page Eight. Nothing else new is planned for a while. I might design some new smilies for this page just for something new.

21st of June, 2002 - 2:24 AM
Small update as I'm quite sleepy right now. I converted a number of pages into a heavier CSS format, which is creating some interesting effects that I couldn't manage before. A lot of the links are also going to be JavaScript, so please don't be too surprised by that. A new image is in the works and should be ready within the next few days.

22nd of June, 2002 - 12:38 AM
More editing of pages with CSS. I think I've got the hang of this now. I still need a lot of practice, but what I have done so far has been rather satisfactory. I'm not too happy about the Main page, though. Needs some work as far as the colours and design. Oh, and once I finish, I've decided to declare the site offically in Incarnation 5.1. Please do let me know if something isn't working right, though. I shall make many mistakes before I'm done.

23rd of June, 2002 - 1:58 AM
I finally added that image to the site that I've been talking about. 'Tis a decent image... probably should have worked on it longer, though. Also getting closer to finishing with the CSS editing. I would have finished tonight, but I didn't feel like it. Just a few poetry pages, the game pages, and the main page to be done. Then Incarnation 5.1 shall be fully functioning.

Incarnation 5.1

24th of June, 2002 - 1:29 AM
Finished the work for Incarnation 5.1. CSS editing is done, and so far it seems everything is working. I added a new e-mail form which is connected to the Misc. Info. page... just because I'm a nice fellow.

2nd of July, 2002 - 1:16 AM
Been going through a sort of creative block. A real pain when it comes to updating this site. Everything still seems to be functioning, though. I put up two new poems on Page Eight of the Poetry section. I think they are decent, but the latter one is more interesting to me. Take a look if you have a moment. Also cleaned out the updates box. You know where the previous ones were moved to.

4th of July, 2002 - 12:07 AM
No real update this morning. For those of us in the States, 'tis Independence Day, and I wanted to wish everyone a good one. Be safe, okay? Don't drink too much, and try not to blow too many things up. Be careful with your fireworks, and most importantly, have fun. Alright? Okay. I'll try to have something to update with rather soon.

30th of July, 2002 - 3:32 AM
Yes, has been almost a month since my last update, and unfortunately, I don't have much to update with. Where have I been...? Studying some subject matter... nothing important to this site. I shall be add a new poem sometime in the next few days, though. At least, I hope I shall be. Going to have to see how things go. I did get something added to the site, though. A new image to the image section. Nothing fantastic, but quite cute in my opinion.

18th of August, 2002 - 6:00 AM
Alright, I'm officially behind. I didn't add that poem I said I was going to add just yet. Why? Well, I'm planning on an entire redesign for the site. I know, I said Incarnation 5.1 was going to be the last... but remember who we are dealing with? Yeah, and I get bored easily. That also explains why I haven't been doing much to the site as of late. The redesign should be easy and as far as I know shouldn't interfere with the site at all. Of course, I've been wrong before. Suggestions are always welcome. Please, no requests for anything involving specific programing languages to be used. I haven't learned many. Thanks.

26th of August, 2002 - 1:27 AM
The works for the new incarnation are currently being created. Of course, you can't see any of it just yet. I don't think you shall be disappointed, though. 'Twill be an interesting change for the site, and one that perhaps is needed for its continued functioning. I am also pondering creating a place for one staff member for this site. A position which wouldn't give much active work with the site itself, but interaction with everyone else. Not sure, though. I have a feeling I was never meant to be a leading type. We shall see.

27th of August, 2002 - 2:24 AM
Nevermind the cry out for a staff member. After a re-evaluation of the current site condition, I've found that 'twould be too much a pain to have anything even resembling a staff at this time. Anyway, the subject matter on my site isn't varied enough to require one. I was wanting someone to take care of advertising and possibly public relations, but I think I can do it, and if not, possibly find someone to do it on a part-time, non-official status. No worries, I haven't lost my mind just yet.

Incarnation Six

7th of September, 2002 - 3:56 AM
Official opening of Incarnation Six!!! You can all cheer now! My apologies for taking so long with it. I ran into a few structural problems with combining all the CSS files into one master CSS file. As you can see, I have abandoned the gray palette for a brighter brown palette. I rather like it, but you may disagree. With this new incarnation, there have been three new poems added (one on Page Eight and two on Page Nine) as well as two new images. Might be a new image added on in a few days, and I plan on adding a couple JavaScript games to the Games section for those without Java capabilities. See, I haven't been too horribly lazy.

9th of September, 2002 - 12:50 AM
Lots of changes due to structural problems. Need others to send me bug reports. Anyone and everyone, if you see something that isn't right, send me an e-mail and let me know. This morning's update includes a removal the background image, as it was causing some unacceptable load times, replacing it with a dark blue colour for now. Perhaps something else later. New piece of submitted poetry added to the Submission section. Please do take a look as I need something to keep these poets writing. More things to come!!

9th of September, 2002 - 2:44 AM
Indeed, another update in the same morning. There were problems with the poetry pages, but they should all be fixed now. Suggestions for a background colour? Let me know. I'm not so sure I like this one... but 'twill do for now.

11th of September, 2002 - 12:26 AM
No updates this morning. For those of us in the States, 'tis an important day. I won't give too much comment, as I have some views that may come off as being insulting even if I know that is not my intention. I would like to once again give my condolences to those that were most deeply affected by the events which occurred one year ago.

13th of September, 2002 - 12:32 AM
New image for the site. Not too incredibly grand, but it contains a symbolic meaning. Feeling a bit of inspiration (no perspiration ^_^) as well, so could be a poem added tomorrow. I'll keep you all updated.

14th of September, 2002 - 12:37 AM
Can't say that I don't keep my promises... well... if you count yesterday as a promise, that is. I added a new poem to Page Nine of the poetry section. And... now I'm not sure when the next update shall be. Hopefully shall be a few more this month, but when you look at my past record, I tend to zone out for months at a time if I have nothing to add. We shall see, no. I'll try to update soon.

26th of September, 2002 - 1:11 AM
Indeed, has been a while, but I have quite a bit to update with tonight. As you have probably already noticed, there are some buttons on the Main page for all the links. I rather like them, but do let me know if you have problems with them. Secondly, I finally added those JavaScript games I've been promising. Only two for now... I may add more later if I feel like it. Third, a new poem was added to Page Nine of the Poetry section. Fourth, a new image added to Page Two of the Images section. Not a great image, but still good enough to be included here. Not sure when I'm updating again, but when I do, you can find out here.

15th of October, 2002 - 12:32 AM
Nothing added as far as content this morning, but I did alter how the Image section works. I coverted two pages into one frames section that makes navigating the images easier... well, if you have a new enough web browser to do that, anyway. I may be doing some other minor upgrades to the site later, but probably not anything that is noticable.

18th of October, 2002 - 1:06 AM
You know what? I entirely forgot about the site's one year anniversary. I can't believe it myself, but on the sixth of this month, this site became one year old. Lots and lots of changed since I first opened it. I can remember those damned annoying flashing green lights I started with and the haphazard navigation system. Kind of hard to believe that this site has made it this far. 'Twill be interesting to see how the site has evolved a year from now.

22nd of October, 2002 - 12:33 AM
Added a new feature to the site for Halloween. 'Tis a page meant to offer a bit of education on the holiday itself, and hopefully it shall at least get some more people to understand. Even if just one person. You can find a link on the main page, or you can just use this one here. Oh... and if you get as moment, advertise my site to everyone you know. Thanks.

22nd of October, 2002 - 4:27 AM
Halloween page isn't up for long and already it gets a banner donation. That's right, the title banner on that page isn't my own work. Thank you benevolent 'net surfer. As for other news: I'm going to see if I can write a poem to post here by the end of the week. Not sure how 'tis going to go, however, as I've started a new project and don't have as much time to devote to this site. That doesn't mean I'm giving up on this place just yet. Gods, no. I love this site. Oh, as always, feel free to send suggestions on how I can improve this place. I can't promise I can enhance all areas, but I'll try my damnedest to get most.

31st of October, 2002 - 1:22 AM
Happy Halloween! Merry Samhain! And pleasant whatever else you want to call this day. Personally, I like the sound of All Hallows Eve, but that's just me. A few updates on this sacred day. First, I added two poems to
