To transfer between RT routes, obtain a free transfer from the driver upon boarding. It is worth a full fare on all RT routes, including a return trip on the bus it was issued on. The transfer must be surrendered to the driver of the second bus you take. The transfer is not valid after the expiration time printed on it (two hours after issuance). If you need to transfer to another transit agency, you will need to use the Express Transfer.
