Hi guys, first, I would like to thank all of you for coming to Emily's Dedication/Birthday party.
Thank you for your generous gifts and thank you to the Ninongs and Ninangs, very much.

Band Practice is at 10 am May 17th Saturday. Jemar will not be there but we will continue practice. If you don't have a copy of the tape that we made Saturday, please have one recorded from Kuya Frank.

Whoever is singing Statement, please get the melody down, because I don't want to confuse the one singing it. Thanks.

We have 2 weeks to practice so I believe that is plenty of time. I listened to the tape we made and it was good considering we just learned the 3 songs. I know Fortress is hard because of the tempo change but it is a just a matter of transitioning from verse to chorus, chorus to verse.

Kuya Frank, all we need is a small drum roll to go from chorus to verse, because it goes from fast to slow. Then, we need something in the verse to chorus, to go from slow to fast.

The other 2 songs went fairly well. Who is the main singer of Redeemed?

Kuya Frank and Jemar, that song sounded great. That is an excellent song, I really love it and it fits each one of us. We need to really tighten that song and make it sound great. That may be the song (I am praying to the Lord) that will get us recognized not just among Filipinos, but among Christians. Let's all do it !!!

Guys, as it stands, band practice is on May 31, 3:00 pm. Kuya Frank and I talked about it and we think doing 8 songs will be enough. Here are the songs we will do :

1. Because I Found You
2. Glory
3. Flesh
4. Fortress
5. Statement
6. Master Builder
7. Follow
8. Redeemed

"Follow" will be the only new song that is left to do. Jem, please send Kuya Frank the "run down" on statement and also on "Follow". I will send you the run down on "Fortress", Kuya Frank.
Next practice, we will go over the old songs and get them down tight. Then we will go over the 3 newer songs and finally, if we have time we will do a run through on "Follow".
We have a total of 8 Saturdays left till July 20th, providing none of our schedules conflict.
It will be tough on all of us, but we all know why we are doing this. So, let's give it our best and the best will come back to us. God bless.
