It's okay with me but it will all depend on Joey's availabiity 'cause I know that they have bible study every Friday night. The only day he is available is Saturday that is if they don't have family appointments to go to like birthdays,etc.. Joey told me that on the 11th of this month he's free. I gave him the digital recorder to learn last night 'cause he is on vacation this week. So I asked him to do some music tracks to some of our easy songs and on the 11th I'll go to their house for us to record the vocals and do
some other stuffs. So if anyone is free on that Saturday you are welcome to join.

I have a proposition to make to the band. There will be a coffee house at GCF(my former church) sometime in January next year and I will volunteer the band to perform (pro bono - for free) purely for exposure and to test how well we will be received by a different crowd. Our previous gigs were fine but not quite good to be noticed. So this is our chance to prove if we can do it in the real world. What do you say?

Hi Guys,

Kamusta na kayong lahat, sorry if i wasn't able to email earlier cause i've been busy at bawal gamitin ang internet sa work ko eh, last saturday pwede sana ako magpractice with you guys kaso some of you ay di naman pwede, this sat. i am not available and next sat. too, i suggest we all plan ahead of our schedules in advance cause i think all of us are busy, like when we need to practice we plan it a month or two months ahead to avoid hassles in our different schedules so we can mark our calendars, you guys can practice on the 18th if you want without me tutal itetest lang naman yung recorder that we bought eh and practice na rin at the same time.

I think we had a lot of time to rest after what we have accomplished, i for one didn't work every sat. even if my work requested it for our band cause we needed more practice at that time, now that we have rested to get back to our work and sort out our ideas we have a lot of energy to play for the Lord, i think we needed to rest so that we won't "burn out" doing what we do, i for one never lost interest and had a lot of ideas and have composed 3 songs already and a 4th one in the making, but i stopped e-mailing and calling my bandmates like before because some of you might need to rest for awhile and have a lot of things to attend to and might get annoyed by my constant "pangungulit" besides everyone needs to take a break anyway.

I like Tito Frank's idea on the gig on GCF if they are going to start a Christian cafe there, it would be good for exposure, by the way Tito Frank i have a friend who has a pick-up truck and is coming this sunday, can we load your drums there so we can use it at fri. prac? my friend said that there is also space in his house for the drums, we can bring the drums every friday and sunday, so that you or kuya vince can practice drums with us on fri. prac of P&W, what do you think?

Hey guys, this is the song with the new chord progression behind it.
It is in the key of Dm.
Yetski, play it exactly like the old way but in Dminor on the second string.
Kuya Frank, how did the recording go? I promise, I will bring the manual this Sunday - let's find out from the guys when it will be a good time to do our first recording.
Rene, if you can, can you find out more about that seminar, I won't be in Edison until Monday.

Hi Joey,
The rest of the band had a meeting last Sunday and we decided to meet at your house on November 8 if you are available. Just to catch up with things and hopefully practice to brush up and do some recording if there is still time. Let us know as soon as you can if you are free on that Saturday afternoon, November 8.

I finally got the manual for the digital recording and it is not that very difficult to learn as long as we will actually sit down and play with it. At first glance, it looks overwhelming but I think when you start playing with it, it will come easy. Remember you were trying to use the modelling function for the effects for guitar, mic, etc. and you can't figure it out, it's very easy. The knobs that you were trying to turn for effects are used just to tweek the sound that will come out after you decided which effect you want to use. There are steps before you can use the knobs.

If you are free this Saturday I will bring it and maybe play around a little bit so that we will be ready before Nov. 8 session. What do you say? Let me know. God bless.

Hi Guys,

Jemar nasasa-iyo kung anong oras ka available. Ikaw lang yata ang nagtatrabaho ng Saturday. Ako pupunta kila Joey mga after lunch siguro. Vince told me that he had to leave early maybe 4:00 or 4:30 pm cause Ging has to work at 7:00pm. I told him to come early so we can start recording some of his stuff at least his part of the music. So Jemar if you could come at 1:00pm the better and Yetski could pick you up if you want or you could come with JR if he wants to come and observe. Hopefully if JR could
always join us in our practice, he can replace me playing the drums when I move to Georgia permanently. He is very good and much better in timing than me.
As far as going to Joey's place is concerned, the address is 900 Laurita St., Linden, NJ . I'm not 100% sure about the name of the street and I don't know the zip code. So Joey if you could read this e-mail just correct me on the address. Just get the direction on what is the fastest way of going there from your place at Map Quest. All the musician are sure to come on Saturday but I'm not sure about the vocalists but we can all manage besides Joey's place is not big enough to accomodate everybody. We can record the music part of it and when we come together at Boyet G. place perhaps on the 13th of December the vocalists can record the vocals. So Guys mark your calendar the tentative date for our real jam session/practice is on December 13th. We have a month and a half to plan for this and to clear up our schedules at least on that day. If everybody can be available on the 15th of November that is a good day too. Joey is available, Rene and of course me I'm always available. Hopefully Boyet G. also. If not December 13th.

What do you say Guys. We really have to have real practice if we want to go to that GCF Coffee House event in late February. We can test on this event if we can really do it clean and playing to a different crowd. The theme of their Coffee house is like American Idol show on TV where there will be contestants and judges type of thing and they are requesting us if we won't mind since we are a band to accompany the singers instead of them using Minus One accompaniment. So we can probably practice one time at GCF place of worship to play their song. Of course I will ask for their pieces so we can learn it. Let me know if this is feasible. It looks like I could be there till about 7:00.

My suggestion is, since all of us are having difficulties getting together, we can practice after each Sunday service. And we NEED to do this every Sunday until the gig. We REALLY have to sound tight and good.

Any of you can make a suggestion which 5 songs we should do first. I say, since we are all rusty, we should do the easier ones first.
