- Recap of band practice @ Linden by Joey Romero, Stillwater band member

This was our first time to practice at Linden (Romero residence). Everyone came except for Boyet and rene, our lead vocalists. We decided to record first the instruments then let the lead and back-up vocals record their stuff on Dec. 13 at Boyet's house in Princeton. We had a great time jamming together. It's been a long time since we've got together.

At the end of the day, we successfully recorded 3 songs: Because I found You, Flesh and Follow

We also talked about changing the name of the band. Everyone gave their own suggestions but it was Jemar who gave the best name for the band. He had a long list of names written on a piece of paper. Vince read it one by one while all of us listened. After all is said and done, we all agreed to the name "STILLWATER".

REDEEMED was changed to STILLWATER!

Guys,
How are you all? Sorry, we have to change the key in "Because I Found You" one more time. It will be in the key of B minor.
Joey, we will have to record that again.
The next time we get together as a whole band is December 13, Saturday at Boyet's house. We will have to make the best use of the time we have because by the time that date comes by, we will only have 2 months before our gig at GCF.
I stronly suggest that we all practice on our own while we are not together. The songs will have to be memorized, it will not look good if we have "paperwork" in front of us in the next gig. We all still have time to do this.
I say this from experience. It is very important that we know our material and present a good image for the audience.

Hi Kuya Joey, Kamusta na po, may isasama po tayong 2 songs sa gig natin in the future na di original songs ng band, the two songs ay ang I CAN ONLY IMAGINE at SHOUT OF THE KING ng hillsong, pinakinggan na po namin ni kuya vince ang mga songs na ito at kinapa na po namin kuya, kung pwede lang po niyo kapain ang keyboard parts ng mga songs, doon po sa SHOUT OF THE KING na song ang gagawin niyo po ay yung saxophone/wind section na part, see you on Dec. 13 kuya, take care, God Bless.
