M, also known as ‘The Yellow M’, directed by James Huth, tells the story of an archetypical 1960s-era British Secret Service agent—also adventurer— ranked as a 001. The character, of course, is highly intelligent, clever, innately suave and intuitive, and enjoys a lively comic-book following.
In French, these stories are called La Marque Jaune.
James Huth
Original French writer-director James Huth leads this realistic detective science-fiction film that takes place in 1953 in England. Apparently there is a co-writer involved: Sonja Shillito.
Huth is working with a budget of less than US$35,000,000.
His previous credits—all in French—include “Serial Lover” and two shorts. As of this writing, James Huth is filming “Brice de Nice”.

Character Blake
Based on adventurer Captain Francis Blake—or Colonel Frances-Percy Blake, who together with is equally capable cohort, Professor Phillip Mortimer—or Professor Philip-Edgar-Agus Mortimer, are both best described in the picture book (comic book) series created by Edgar P Jacobs.
We understand that the Blake character must age from 20 to 45 over the course of the film. He is also described as ‘tall and dashingly handsome’.

Initial Details
This project has apparently been in development for years: indeed, Rufus Sewell and Hugh Bonneville were attached at one time. Filming is due to begin in July or August—depending on the reporter—in England and in Montreal, Canada.
The story uncovers a ‘dastardly plot to rule the world through a mind-controlling “mega-wave”’. The Prime Minister calls on Blake to free the English people from this immoral threat.
