Entry 6 Continued...

I used some of my spells on the baddies against me, and was successful at destroying a few, but most were still swarming.  I grabbed my sword again in earnest and began to shout as undead came at us all from every angle.  One thing was for certain; we were making a dent in his undead army.
After the dent became more pronounced, the Necromancer came back into the battle screaming that his army was undefeatable and that we should be dead.  I turned right to him and started walking right towards him with no regard for the slashing and clawing that had previously surrounded me.  I stood right before him and called upon Farsk to instill my body with strength.  My wounds closed shut and the bleeding just disappeared.  I then cast one of my most powerful spells at the mage, I cast a holding spell to bind him in place.  It only lasts a few seconds, but that was all that I needed.  I ran to his held form and tackled him to the ground while pulling out my rope to tie him with.
Aria heard what was going on, and detached herself from the skeletons that had surrounded her and came to join the fray with the mage and I.  But the mage was not alone.  He had brought two ghouls with him, one of which was his own grandson.  Aria fought off one of them while Bron, who had been battling with his own problems from the other side of the battlefield, started pummeling the ghouls to either side of the mage with a magical energy that hit perfectly each time.  While this was taking place, Aria and I were able to tie up the Necromancer so that he couldn’t talk and we then went around and killed any of the undead who were still alive.
After the last of the undead were slain, again, I looked around for the Orcs who were accompanying us.  To my horror they had all been clawed and bitten nearly to death, and they were all unconscious.  Quickly I went around to each one binding wounds where I could and using my healing powers.  When all was finished, I was able to save them all, and three were conscious enough to lend aid to their unconscious brothers.  Tired from the fight we looked around for a good place to rest, and almost at once, our eyes all fell up on the now vacated fortress in the valley.  We trudged our way down to the fortress and barred the door behind us.
Before going to sleep that evening, we went through the whole place making sure that there weren’t any surprises left for us.  We found the Necromancer’s study and his personal diary where his own script showed why and how he was terrorizing the town of Gand.  We all went to sleep after the search and woke early the next day to leave back to Gand.
