A three-part Changeling: the Dreaming introductory kit is available from White Wolf. The Changeling Introductory Kit is a greatly simplified version of Changeling, the table-top Role Playing Game, in its 2nd edition. It does not represent the actual Changeling 2nd rules, or those in The Shining Host. It does, however, give a swiftly accessible introduction to much of the background of the Shining Host and Changeling: the Dreaming. Also, we have switched to the *.pdf 3.0 file format. Make sure you have a 3.0 reader from adobe.com. Currently, the Intro Kit is only available in *.pdf.
Part one, pages 1-8; first introduction through the Codes of the two Courts.
Part two, pages 9-16; includes the kiths and houses.
Part three, pages 17-24; includes arts and quickstart rules.

An overview of Changeling culture is available - this is of particular use to those unfamiliar with Changeling: The Shining Host.
Changelings have taken many words to describe their own existence, creating a language all their own.
Every Changeling lives a dual life, as one of the kithain and as a human, hidden by their Seeming from the Banal world. Awakening from this mundane life is known amongst the fae as the Chrysalis.
An important part of Changeling culture is the way in which the Dreaming ensures that they are bound by their word. The oaths they swear are epic in scope. By comparison to the keeping of an oath sworn, even the upholding of the Escheat seems pale and simple.
There are also several aspects of vital import to understanding kithain culture. The twin Courts into which they divide themselves; and their gatherings and politics which mark their classes. Seelie and Unseelie, noble and commoner, these four bounds divide them.
